Palo Santo (Bursera Graveolens) is a mystical tree that grows on the coast of South America and is related to Frankincense, Myrrh and Copal. In Spanish, the name literally means “Holy Wood”
Using Palo Santo is very simple. You can use it either to clear a space of negative or unwanted energies; for meditation; or for cleansing your crystals. Take one stick and light it with a candle, match or lighter. Allow the Palo Santo stick to burn for 30 seconds to a minute, then carefully blow it out. Palo Santo resembles smells of pine, mint and lemon.
I start from the front door and move around the house in a clockwise direction saying, “Cleanse this space, remove all negativity and charged with positivity in love light and happiness”.

Info sheet included
Burning sage — also known as smudging — is an ancient spiritual ritual. Smudging has been well established as a Native American cultural or tribal practice, although it isn’t practiced by all groups.
Once lit the sage smoke offers rapid delivery to the brain and efficient absorption to the body. Scientists have observed that sage can clear up to 94 percent of airborne bacteria in a space and disinfect the air. When sage is burned, it releases negative ions, which is linked to putting people into a positive mood. Sage is a herb with several promising health benefits. It's high in antioxidants and may help support oral health, aid brain function and lower blood sugar and cholesterol levels. This green spice is also easy to add to almost any savoury dish. It can be enjoyed fresh, dried or as a tea.
How do you burn sage?
1. Light the end of a sage bundle with a match. Blow out quickly if it catches on fire.
2. The tips of the leaves should smoulder slowly, releasing thick smoke.
3. Allow the incense to linger on the areas of your body or surroundings you'd like to focus on.
4. Allow the ash to collect in a ceramic bowl or shell.
5. I start from the front door and move around the house in a anti clockwise direction saying, “Cleanse this space, remove all negativity and charged with positivity in love light and happiness”.
