My background includes working with children and families in various settings as a teacher, social worker and counsellor, I have over 30 years of experience in the social services field, both statutory and NGO sectors. I have had many years’ experience in managing a busy team with complex cases working as a clinical team leader for a team of 13 clinical staff including social workers, counsellors, youth drug and alcohol workers, and youth workers.

I am passionate about people being the best they can be in their roles, I have a big focus on self-care and good health and safety at work. I can help focus on a good work life balance, help you manage high complex cases and ensure safe practice. I encourage reflection on your practice and yourself and integrate theory and good holistic practice in to the sessions. I am also interested in encouraging safe cultural practice. My current role under ACC is working alongside sexually abused women, and private practice as a counselling therapist.
